Spring Break!…

Well it’s spring break here on campus!

A lot of people I know are at a nice warm beach partying pretty hard, but then there’s me stuck at home working most days and trying to figure something out on these cold days to do that might be fun.

So what I have found myself doing these last few days is just playing games to past the time, I borrowed Final Fantasy VX from my brother and am loving it. I’m a big fan of the Final Fantasy’s and some far would suggest this one to anyone interested.

Another thing I have find myself doing and something you could do too is just sit down and watch some sports, March Madness is starting and theres no better time of the year for basketball!

March Madness

But this is about all I’ve been able to so other than work because it’s so cold outside. If you have any good suggestions on things to do let me know! thanks!

Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Well I haven’t played the new Legend of Zelda yet and I know it just came out yesterday, but I’m hating the fact I don’t have it

So far Breath of the Wild hasn’t gotten anything but amazing reviews for the Nintendo Switch. Seeing this just makes me want to spend all my money on the two of them!

But I think I’ll have to wait a little while before I’ll be able to even get my hands on a Switch, and Zelda. Which really sucks, but in the long run may be okay and actually save me some money.

Anyone reading this that has anything good, or if possible bad please feel free to say below!!

Call of Duty should Stick to its Roots!

Yep, this is going to be another video game post. But this one is about about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and how it and MW2 are by far (in my opinion) the best Call of Duty’s ever created and why I Believe we’ll be seeing a MW2 Remastered very soon.

I was one of those people that played COD: Modern Warfare/MW2 for Ps3 absolutely loving ever minute of them. I spent so much of my time playing that game when I was in middle school, nothing compared to their PvP,  FPS playing style.

So when I heard they were remaking the first Modern Warfare damn straight I was getting a copy. The COD series had gotten so out of wack over the years that I just stopped playing them. They went from four good PvP games in a row, to crazy fighting styles and futurist moves that I didn’t find them near as fun as MW and MW2.

But the remastered COD has not let me down yet, I’m back playing online with friends I played the game with nearly 10 years ago, and its just as fun now as it was then. My only beef with the online play is that they haven’t brought creek back, which is my all time favorite map.

With the great success Modern Warfare has seen over the past few months I can easy see MW2 be remastered in the next year or two!

Nintendo will always be the favorite

As you guessed this will be about Nintendo, and why it will always be my favorite gaming console company.

Where to ever begin, when I see Nintendo it takes me back to when I was just a wee lad. Me and my siblings would sit around and play Mario, Zelda, Banjo Kazooie, still some of the best games I’ve ever played.

Nintendo is the only console that I turn back to and always return to the older games even after beating a new one. Going back and running through levels on Mario takes me back to the living room when I was a kid. Even though I was mostly just watching my older siblings play it’s still some of the best memories I have.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time is my favorite game of all time. It has so much replay value and never gets old no matter how many time you beat the game. I beat it a few times when I was a younger child, but I went back and beat it on a 64 about a year and a half ago and enjoyed it probably more now then when I was a kid.

I can’t talk about Nintendo and not talk about the old Banjo Kazooie games, they were simply AMAZING! They were so unique and adventurous you didn’t want to stop playing, you just wanted to keep going and going until you had all the notes and puzzle pieces complete. Their hasn’t been any banjo games that were anywhere near as good as the original Nintendo 64 Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, just another hit that Nintendo has under their belt of great games.
